Crypto Donations

Donate your virtual currency via Dechomai Foundation. We manage the entire process of receiving, managing, liquidating, and finally granting the proceeds to your favorite charity(ies) 30 days after we receive liquid settlement funds.

Our crypto donation process is streamlined and includes donor education, creating the donor advised fund, donation test transaction, full donation transaction, completing the sale, wiring funds, sending the acknowledgment letter, working with an appraiser for Forms 8283 and 8282, accounting, auditing file, grant reconciliation, Board approval and then wiring the final grant.

We require no contracts or fees with any of our charitable partners – you “hire” us by referring a donor and you “fire” us by not referring.

Our fees are a simple 1% ($4,000 maximum cap) with a minimum fee of $500 for all crypto donations through Dechomai.*
